Fall in love with this I Do BBQ Wedding Reception
My friend Melissa and her fiancé ran off to Gatlinburg, TN to get hitched and wanted a way to bring all their friends and family together to celebrate. They decided to go with an “I Do BBQ.”
She had me create the invitation above for them and then she came up with some really creative ideas! Here are her ideas for a Fall Themed I Do BBQ:
Everyone was greeted with a Jon Boat filled with your classic fall decorations- pumpkins, gourds, scarecrow and a Fall sign. She also had a chalkboard banner that she wrote Mr. and Mrs. Owen on there. Such a cute and unique greeting for her rustic fall themed I Do BBQ!
As soon as you walked in she had a sign that said “Pop a Top and Party Till You Drop”. In the bowl behind the sign she had got custom keychain bottle openers with their name on it. In the tub were bottles of Root Beer.
A way to make your thank you notes a little easier is to have your guests fill out their name on the return envelope!
She created a sign that had the “I DO BBQ” with the date and had guests sign the board as the guestbook
She used string and close pins to make a banner using photos of them!
I absolutely love this idea! She had an old window that she used as a platter for her pies! This will also work great for cakes or cupcakes
As a way to entertain the kiddos at the party, she got small pumpkins and different art material and allowed the kids to decorate them!
Melissa created these awesome centerpieces by filling a mason jar with corn and the making this arrangement with Fall decor.
She placed them on wood slabs.
Congratulations Josh and Melissa on a wonderful I DO BBQ and for a great marriage!
I am so lucky to call you my dear friend. Thank you so much for all your help, advice and inspiration.
